new short shifters

just a quick question for those who have got one.

 

the aftermarket shifters, do they have a slight bend in the rod that comes from the tube that holds the bushings in?

 

on a standard zed gearstick there is a slight bend to the rod but in all the pics i have seen of the short shifters they dont seem to have this bend. is that so?
