dodgy import what he on about

If most people were like us devout ZX'ers then £9k would be a right price for it. But we have the best secret in high performance motoring so they are cheap and 5-6K is top price for a good stock car. :smash:

unspoilt and original, but it has got 99 spec rear lights and aftermarket exhaust

does look nice though, and if you want a minter, then maybe the price aint too bad

There is a stosek(copy) kitted zed advertised for £12.5k in back of Japanese performance this month

tbh...fairplay to them. A few more adverts like that can only benefit zed value and image.

44,700 miles, Twin Turbo, met black, grey cloth, possibly the best UK supplied (not a dodgy import!) 300 ZX Twin Turbo in the country, unspoilt and very original, rare. Fantastic history, bills, one previous owner (husband & wife), climate control, new Michelins, top ICE, remote alarm/immobiliser, see better description on Ebay or call. No canvassers, will just put the phone down. £8,995

Imports are not dodgy, if anything they are in better condition than a lot of UK models specialy in the rust deparment.

Why would you put "Husband and Wife" last owned it?? Does this mean it did not belong to a chav or a fast driver who has not ragged it?? If so what a load of B0ll0cks, wife probably told husband to drive faster. ;)

My Jap manual TT SWB import was in top condition and had only done 40K miles. Imported for £5800 including 6 month warranty which largely covered a clutch replacement. From my experience if you want a mint ZX and are prepared to wait 3-4 months get a jap Zed.

thats the price all our cars should be! not the 3-4k they currently get

Agreed - hope he gets what he's after. We could all do with more being priced like that...

they should be getting more expenive with age as the good ones are getting harder and harder to find, think his price is a touch optimistic but hope he gets!!

LOL. Yeah, I think he's being optimistic... but on the other hand, it does make me think stuff it, if I decide to sell mine again I'm going to stick it in the local rag for £7k and see what happens. At the end of the day, if everyone sold them for 10k that's what they'd sell for... although probably not in the numbers they do now. I guess there's too many crap ones on the market.

and its an auto with cloth seats :slap:

Looks like it's velour rather than the other stuff though, so going with the reg it's almost certainly a series II.

Just don't price me out of the market chaps. Give a girl a chance.

i hope they get what they are after,i would be asking 8k plus if i was to sell mine, but it only takes one person to sell their 300 for 2k and thats the flood gates open to riff raff that think its a 2k car in my opinion of course, lol

Paul

i met someone the other day who just payed 4900 for an auto 90 and it wasnt mint/

ive just looked if his untoached genuine car with late rear lights and exhaust ect then my manule is wroth 10k
