Just found out now that 5 members have just left the club and joined ZCLUB.NET ??

Although they wish to be anonymous, its a sad day for all of us as some will be greatly missed.

Whats happening ?

must be a great site if the people leaving for it are to shamed to admit it.

im happy here, and if the people leaving dont want to let their name be mentioned, then i dont see why this thread is here.

i like it here.. people feed me...

I actually went on there the other day for about 48 seconds, I forget why now.

I like the format/style/layout of this forum best but then again its the only one I'm used to :D

I prefer this site too. I am not getting into any comparison argument but my only feeling of the Z Clubs site being better is the colour shceme. I do think the blue on here is a bit boring. but Hey! it dosent stop it being the carlsberg of all forums

:nana2: :nana2: :nana2: :nana2: :nana2:  you just ask chunk ,,in his words you guys rock ,,,and there you have it ,,,a couple of small minded trouble makers just trying to get a reaction from us 300 guys,,,if you dont like this place you know what to do ,,,,reguards to you all from frags ,and i hope you all have had a pleasent easter as i have

I am a member of Zclub.net (because i have a 260Z) I look in on here from time to time as do a lot of Z Club members.

My son is a member here (as he has a 300ZX) and also Zclub.net (because I joined him when he bought his Z) He prefers this site, in fact i don't think he's ever posted on the other one although he does look in..

i prefer the Z Club site and he prefers this one.

i totally agree with some of the comments here, the z club can be likened to last of the Summer Wine and it does need livening up but that is happening as more 300 / 350 members join.

There is no need to' leave' one site to go to the other, you only need to press a few keys and you're there. Both sites have room for every one

i always attend the 300zx midland meetings with my son and really enjoy them. He originally came to the Z club meetings with me where he got the taste for his Z.

We will attend JAE etc this year, together but with different clubs- nothing wrong with that.

I feel the Z Club is perceived (wrongly) to be for the older models but this is not so, the motto is 'one club, all the cars' and we try to embrace all models and their owners.

Yes I do think it's a bit'old fashioned ' and strasight laced in comparison to this site but you can always go over there and lighten things up a bit, we'll be pleased to see you, you don't have to leave.

In my opinion the Z Club is more of what i perceive to be an established car club and if you join you will also receive a top fllight magazine every quarter the content of which is contributed by its members. join up by all means or come to the joint meetings and see what's on offer. You don't have to defect from one to be in both clubs.

After all we all own Z Cars and that's what it's all about.

Agreed 100%

Just pop over and read the thread about our Midlands meet at The Boat.

Old faces(mine especially!!!) and plenty of new ones too.

A few leave .... a few more arrive... Its just life.

BTW Im another "joint member". Two clubs... loadsa great people and cars...

hey guys stop biting :)

there are a couple of people out there trying to stir the shit on the forum, we've always had the odd couple trying to do this, enjoy the club, it aint perfect but we are getting there, and yes, everything that is done is for the membership :)

Well, I'm a member of both http://www.zclub.net (Join Date: 18-12-2003, Member number 742) and http://www.300zx.co.uk (Join Date: 9th October 2003, Member number 166)

I am a member of both clubs for different reasons, i love this place, the banter, the dodgy photoshopping, the loyalty of the members, the damb good laugh we have at meets/main events Oh and most importantly, the people, you guys!!

I am a member of the Zclub for other reasons, mainly being the Zclub drag challenge, Also, to have a bit of a chill out from the moderating stress and strain! :)

Now, Personally, if 5, 50, 500 people wish to join other forums for whatever reason, then thats there buisness, I dont believe it needs to be high-lighted to the other members.

As i have said lots very recently, YOU GUYS ROCK (thanks for reminding me jase :p) I have only been a 300zx owner for 2.5 years and i certainly dont know of another place like this!!

As Mike has said, yep, it ain't perfect, but what is!!! My Z certainly isnt!

I feel like a group hug coming on........Dont you!

All the very best

Rich

as most of you know i dont get out much due to various time spent in hospital for treatment, and most of the time at home as i cant risk getting any infections etc.. at most meets i hurry back home after the meet due to my medication etc..

since joining this club i have been able to meet people i wouldn't have met at all, shared questions and information that i wouldnt of known.

The basis of any club in my mind is to form a community, a family of sorts.

The strengths of this club are shown on a daily basis by the content posted here, if a member or non member wants advice it is freely given and usually by several members.

When i got my slicktop i didnt know anything about the 300zx or if mine was anything special yet after my first meet i learned more there that i previuosly knew. since then i have been able to become a part of this club by becoming the welsh events organiser for a short time.

i have spoken to most of the members here either in person or on the phone, yet i have been helped by so many people i wouldnt know where to start thanking them.

this club is all about helping each other out, coming together sharing stories and enjoying the cars we own.

i for one am proud to be a member here and whenever i meet a zed owner who has never heard of it i always give them the details.

I for one wish to thank the guys who run this club for the time they take to keep the server up, the events they arrange and for giving me an extended family and more importantly, new friends.

im a 300zx.co.uk member and proud of it. what about you??

I too am proud to be a 300zx.co.uk member since 2002 even though I have never owned a 300 and also proud to be a member of the Z Club and what pleases me most is how both clubs are continually improving in thier own ways

Hello Derek mate.

I could not have put that any better bud. In fact I dont think anyone could have. I personally would rather the Z Club stayed exactly as it is. In my case its a place to retreat to and have a quiet read and catch up. On here on the other hand its lively and busy and a great place to have multi person chat.

The two work very well side by side and thats how it should stay.   ;)

P.S. Hello Steve...

I too am proud to be a 300zx.co.uk member since 2002 even though I have never owned a 300 and also proud to be a member of the Z Club and what pleases me most is how both clubs are continually improving in thier own ways

exactly

the zclub and steve have been very helpful in giving us advice over the years :)
