My clutch has started slipping in higher gears when the turbos kick in. What is a good all round clutch that will take the power but not be so stiff i need to use both legs to depress it? What do most people on here use?

Cheers mate, is that in the for sale section because im still waiting for my suscription to go through so I can PM

or smithy can supply new RPS clutches. got a RPS sport in mine - very good clutch IMO :)

I've got an RPS sport too - been very happy with it. See Smithy for prices.

......And I have a brand new and boxed RPS Sport Street clutch for sale with throw-out bearing, pressure plate etc. for 300 quid or reasonable offer if yer interested!

It's not been mentioned yet, and I'm sure it'd be checked when you have your clutch replaced, but when I had the same symptoms the real problem was the rear crank seal. Still needed my (contaminated) clutch replaced, but worth having it checked!

when you replace the clutch it would be silly not to replace the rear main seal to the crank,as mark says!otherwise if it leaks down the line its gearbox out again.rps sport is an ideal clutch and comes with new release bearing, and needle bushing.

Yep this is what I am getting soon :hyper: :hyper:

yea, deffo do the rear main. id do (did!) the rear gearbox seal as well as these can leak too

99% of the RPS clutches i've sold have been Organic mate, whilst the 6 puck holds a bit more torque it is an either on or off clutch, the disc wears quicker than organic and costs more to replace when the time comes.

Rule of thumb is generally if you have all usual/basic mods but without bigger tubs and injectors then the Sport series, usual mods and with bigger injectors and tubs, then the Max series is best ;)

Any probs or want to order one, just let me know.

cheers
