I waited and waited and waited and they didn't take it out the garage and thrash it. what a waste of petrol :D

Damn rare car that! It's good to see they are getting it out to show the public and not just sat in a museum or private colletction.

 

Oh and it's still the only Japanese car to win Le Mans, all the way back in 1991, after that they banned W a n kel engines. Tossers imho

 

It ran at 9000rpm most of the race for fuel economy reasons and developed 'over' 700hp. If they upped the limiter to 10,500 it produced 'over' 930hp.................cool :D

 

830kg........... nice p/w ratio going on there methinks..........
