I was just reading a thread by Chunk about how far people are willing to travel and it hit me :mac1:

As we have quiet a few guys that live around the Liecester Hinkley way, is there a place we could meet up of an evening, say once a month or every other week.

How about Liecester forest east?

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

Looks like its just you and me then Mr Bunny

Might be some more on the way :D

Monday, Wednesday and Friday i'm usually free. Tuesday is pub quiz and Thursday is eating out night for me ;) lol

In fact, this is how all the local meets started in the first place! We used to have fortnightly meets at the Bulls Head on the A47 near Earl Shilton - other regions heard about this and it grew from there.

As you say, the Leicestershire area is quite a busy one for Z owners, so I for one would be up for some more regular local mini meets, but perhaps at a different venue as the Bull's car park is not that big.

My suggestion would be The Mill on the Soar on the B4114 near Broughton Astley (postcode LE9 6QA - http://www.millonthesoar.com ). The food and bar are very good, there is a good sized car park with three separated sections (thinking we could take over one bit) and it's dead easy to get to.

Any more suggestions?

I that the pub with a fishing lake out the back?

If it is it would be a great place with lots of room and the kids could come too.

Ohhhhhhhhhh just like the old days :D

Sounds great to me, I'll get hold of the midland esteamed leader (The Dark Warrior) and between us we'll get this sorted.

But please remember, Ashby Foalville classic meet starts again next month!! WOOOOHOOOOO!! :D

Oh and peach :slap: (You know what for) :p :)

Yes mate, that's the one. Great place for the kids 'cos they've got an adventure playground there too (which I used to play on when I was a kid  )

Oh and peach :slap:

Who? Me? Dunno what you mean mate. ;)
