Hello all the Zed is finally up and running again since.

As I only really used her round the doors I hadnt really noticed this to much, but as I was returning from Manchester having had loads of work done I noticed that going at speeds of between 60 - 80mph and more the whole car shakes like hell. Its fine at lower speeds. Am hoping it is just tracking and balancing of the wheels etc. If not what else could it be???

Thanks in advence.

I have just noticed the same problem with my car it only became apparent after a bit of heavy breaking and i fear it could be due to a warped disc or sticky cylinder in one of the calipers i have read that 300zx are suseptable to break problems especially caused by heavy breaking.

My wobble seems to be coming from rear pasenger side wheel and around the same speeds as you have said it might pay to work out which wheel its coming from and check the breaks for signs of heat damage also to check the calipers to see if they are seized or sticky.

Can't it being brake related if he's not braking, get some 4 wheel alignment and wheel balancing done and as long as you don't have a buckled wheel you will prolly be fine.

If the disc is buckled enough then surely it will cause wobble weather under breaking or not. Not that im an expert or anything just a thought as mine only started doing it after long heavy braking that was something to do with that and it only seems to be coming from the one wheel.

Do you think it could be something to do with wheel bearings?

Thanks all.

Think first point of attack will be wheel balancing, tracking and 4 wheel alignment.

Yes I was worried it might be prop related. Is it a load of trouble getting the prop bearing done and how much is it to replace etc.?
