I'm looking at putting in a couple of gauges, boost and either a water or oil temp. First question is which to get water or oil? and second question is how hard are they to fit? A mechanic friend said it's no problem to drill into the sump, just do it before an oil change, so oil will flow out and bring any filings out with it, he also said that there should be a rather large magnet in the sump to catch any loose filings within the engine??????????

 

With the water sensor, can you just use either of the coolant sensor connecters??

 

Has anyone fitted either of these?
