Sorry to hear that mate.

Don't go into court with that attitude. Be humble, dress smart but not too fasionably, be really sorry for speeding, make out you're glad you got caught as it showed you the error of your ways etc etc etc - good luck!

(got a letter of intended nicking from Beds police myself today for speeding - d'oh)

CD are you a professional blagger by any chance? your advice on these such threads is always top-notch :D

LOL, I'm a journalist (so I do blag quite a lot of stuff!)

When I was starting several years ago I worked on a local newspaper and reported the magistrates court (among other things like village school fetes and vegetable growing competitions!) I saw a lot of driving cases.

How you behave on the day seemed to make a BIG difference. They don't like cocky, mouthy, arrogant or expensive clothes / jewellery. They do like humble, apologetic people who look a bit like them/their nephew etc. It makes sense really but defendents used to get carried away on the day and give it 'the big I am' and it'd cost them!

You got a Corsa up to 100mph    I take it there was a strong wind behind you then??? LOL

thats what i said :headvswal

What is what you said  Are you after sympathy for been caught breaking the speed limit at 100 mph or are you after sympathy for in your frustration kicking the back of your car and breaking your own foot?? If so WTF both is your own stupidity IMO

Sorry to here you lost your job though.

H*ll mate ,thats a bit much all at once. I remember feeling like that after I left the Marines. Civvy street was giving me a solid kick into touch, thought I'd got 12 points, then when I went to collect my licence and insurance for the producer my mot was out (I was on resettlement from the forces so all my belongings were in storage). Then I got lucky: got a speed awareness course, and the police had some christmas spirit and didn't press charges on the MOT. Phew! I'm sure it'll turn around for you to mate. Just stay calm and don't do anything stupid. Dave

Im after nothing from you just sharing something funny really. :xxx:

OH!! In that case Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha    :xxx: You have lost your licence, job and you have a broken foot.
