stall when engine up to temp and no restart and engine check light

Recently had replacement engine and turbos fitted and the garage are having problems getting it to run properly. They drive for say 20 miles and engines stall and wont restart. Having read previous threads on here I came to my own conclusion that its either the PTU or crank angle sensor... or both. I have told the garage what I think but they say that the ECU is showing no fault codes! They are now going to check the wiring loom for breakages. They are not zed specialists but had no problems taking the job on and claim that they have worked many "similar" engines. To me it seems odd that the engine check light is on and the car wont start and there is no fault code, what do think? I suppose, looking at the possible fault codes, there isnt one that covers the wiring loom (is there?) so maybe they are on the right track. I would prefer to get the car over to Zedworld or Ztech but if the car leaves there premises to go to someone who they dont have official links with then I have to pay 50% of the final payment (with the engine not running!) and then obviously il be paying for the work at Zedworld / Ztech and then have to pay the remainder to the garage where its at when I get the car back (providing it cant be proven that its something wrong with there work). Whereas if they continue to work on it themselves it is not at any further expense to me. Your opinions would be gratefully received.

could be the ecu temp senser at the front fitted to water pipe. if this senser is faulty it will cause overfuelling, thats why when car is at operating temp the ecu is still thinking its cold. you should get a code 13 if it is the ecu temp senser or 21 = ptu/harness.

They reckon that its not showing any fault codes. Unless anyone can tell me differently, surely you cant have an engine check light and a non starter without it showing up a fault code? Im gonna give them till the end of the week (theyve had the car since middle of january including fitting the engine etc and theyve been trying to find out whats wrong with it for nearly two weeks) and then ill have to give them there 50% payment and get it over to Zedworld knowing that it WILL get sorted. Ive gotta give them every chance to sort it, as they do have my car and I dont want to give them ay reason to not honour the warranty that they will be providing.
