Itz all worth it

Just been out for a blast in my Z for the first time in a few months. I've been driving a cavalier during the salty months. Spring like day, dry road.

Hit the lanes round my way and jesus, i'd forgottemn how fast the Z is. Kid and his dad behind me in a yellow maestro van trying to figure out what the car in front is, then as the road frees up disapearing into the distance. Absolutely flying and only half throttle. The sound of the engine, the honk, the resonance behind the speedo somewhere, the smell of the oil vapour. Round corners that the cavalier would only fantasise about. Guy in a red 911 comes past the other way as I'm stopped in traffic and has a good look at my z without turning his head, but I catch his eyes gawking. Then home, birds tweeting in the trees, let the engine cool down, I pop inside to stick the kettle on, and some kids walk past and one goes "cor look at that, coooorr wot a car great etc".

Yep, despite all the problems and expense and insurance companies, it's all worth it. I love my Z. Roll on summer. All i need now is for Kylie to come round.

Better go, there's someone at the door.

Coogs,

I find that I can throw my cavalier round a corner better then I can throw my Z round one, does that highlight what a shite driver I am?? LOL! biggrin.gif

As soon as I put my foot down the old girls arse starts to jiggle and I'm not talking about Kylie!! Don't get that in my 1.6L.

Your Z shouldn't wiggle that much. Could be rear steering arm trubble. The cav is quite chuckable round a corner, and if I end up in a ditch, so what? Its only a cavalier.
