Need some help peeps

I have a water leak from what i think is the pass side intercooler, ive been lossing water for a few days and have spotted the leak, here's what im not sure about, I have no water at all in the expansion tank?? should there be??

the leak is coming from right in front of the pass wheel so its intercooler or split expansion tank???, im going to take a proper look at the weekend as i need to flush the system anyway. is this a common prob or could it be something more serious???

I have a proper coolant flush to run through th system and im going to use the red toyota coolant as ive always found this to be very good.

any hits or tips would be appreciated

cheers craig

well there is no water in the intercooler ;) sounds like its coming from the coolent tank, take the wheel off and remove the inner wing plastic and it will reveal the tank so fill it up again and see where abouts its leaking :)

could be just the hose split,or at worst the tank, cheap enought to replace 2nd hand though
