Ok so i'm getting some nice blue/red glo dials.

1.What resistor do i need 20k or 22k?

2.Where does the resistor go (pictures would be good)?

3.Do the needles still light up?

Doesn't seem to be a definitive write up on this...

Any pictures or help on the above would be great

Thank you

Well, after doing a search on the forum I fitted a 20k resistor in place of R10 (originally 33k) on the Speedo PCB - haven't yet fitted them to my car. The needles should still light up as they're fed by a seperate bulb.

I may have some pix at home I can post up later.

PS I can send you a 20K resistor if you want - just PM me your snail mail address.

As far as the conversion from 180 to 160mph goes I believe you change resistor R10 on the speedo board from 33k to 20K.

You then have to refit the clocks but with access to the blue potentiometer next to R10 and then drive along at a known speed ( get someone to drive in front of you at a known speed ) and adjust the pot until the speedo reads the known speed. Do this at several different speeds to make sure its set correct.

As far as the conversion from 180 to 160mph goes you change resistor R10 on the speedo board from 33k to 20K.

If you look on the PCB board you will see that all resistors etc are identified on the board, its the R10 one you need to change.

cheers
