My passenger side front seems to hang about 2-3cm lower than the drivers side.My car has been been lowered at some point and i found these shocks (see pic of rear unit)

GAB "shock asborbers for hard suspension, made in Japan by Wings"

what are they and what will happen if i turn the knob on them?I dont know if the front has got this knob on them.

Has this got anything to do with ride height or is it because the the spring might be on its way out?

Thanks in advance

Its adjustable rebound (adjustable firmness), try adjusting them..clockwise and anti clockwise to a setting you prefer.

thanks so it wont affect ride height?its doesnt seem lumpy when going over bumps and seems to hold the road okay,so i dont think its the shock.could the spring cause the car to sag a bit?

It also seems they require professional fitting apparently as fitting is critical, they may not be installed correctly hence the sag? However I am no expert just based on review etc...

Yeh, sounds like springs....or the shocks/springs have been put on the wrong way around, as they are angled for fitment and forcing them on incorrectly would result in the top mounts not sitting perfectly and causing a ride height difference.

GAB shocks are effcectively KYB AJX shocks.

Unless you have spring compressers don't do it!!

They are under load and if you release the load without the compressors they could take your head off or wores, put a hole in the side of your ride.

thanks mate

I will find out tommorow and take it from there

if you need a hand mate just pm me or ring me on my mobile.ive got the gear for removing springs etc and could take a look at it for you to see what the problem might be. kev.......
