I have recently purchased a pair of turboXS BOV's from Z1 motorsprt, I have fitted them, but as per title, they aren't dumping, I'm getting a nice lot of chatter fom the wastegates but no whooshing.

please help!

Isn't there an adjustment thingy on them to change at what moment they dump?

There was a sh*t load of washers that came with them, are they anything to do with it??

I don't know mate, I've never fitted any myself as mine were on the car. I do know that people have had issues with boost etc and its been because the BOVs weren't set up properly, should be a screw or something I'd imagine.

Apexi have a screw at the tip to alter and a sleeve lower down with three different size holes, I assume your BOVs are similar?

No mate, mine have a trympet ot the base of them, the only thing I can think of that would be adjustable is the spring, but I haven't a scooby how to adjust it?????

I have the same Bov's Bud.Take off the vac pipe on top.Unscrew the top,be carefull as it is under tension from the spring.Pull out and see if there are any washers at the bottom inside the "Orifice" (Luv That Word) Lol.If there arnt any stick one in both Bovs.Reconect vac pipes.Look through the trumpet hole when engine is warmed up the brass valve should not open at idle.Give the car a blast.See if yer dump.If not keep adding washers till it does.Think I have three in each of mine.Any probs Bud give me a ring ........0115 9199821

Right, done the above, my brass valves dont even close at any time?? do I need more washers? as I already have 4 in each side,this is getting frustrating now
