Luke I toasted him big stylie biggrin.gif,I came behind him at 70mph,he stamps on the gas to show me what he can do,LMFAO he is a tiny spec in the distance in about 20seconds wink.gif,WHY DO THEY TRY IT ON??????

on a straight you will but he will truelly muller you on the twisty stuff which is where the scoobys come into their own

Its a 4WD thats what it is made for. But put it on a real track with long fast straights and I think that you will find that it has no or little advantage.

2 completley different cars

Stuart I know they are two different cars built for two different things wink.gifI would not choose to race one on the twisty stuff,My point was he did choose to race me on a big straight WHY? after about 30seconds he was allmost out of sight.

One one billie piper might say...

because he wants to, because he wants to.

Hhehe, maybe he wanted to see how fast your car is, I know when I had an old orion 1.6, i would always try it on with faster cars,

just to see...and aspire to one one, hehe.

on my scalpee list, was,

2 escort cosworths,

4 sierra cosworths,

1 f355,

1 lotus Carlton (twice)

and some more

Cos he drives a scobby, so he needs to aspire to something good...cos he dont drive anything good, hehehe jokey jokey joke of course, I dont like 'scobbies'

See ya

Also, its not the winning, its the taking part that counts. Or are you a die hard street racer, it doesnt matter whether you win by an inch or a mile (which lets face it on 1/4 mile track, youd be doing well, hehe), lucky you werent racing him for pink slips. hehehe wink.gif

See you

why dont you come up to brighouse nr leeds like we do for the street racing i know of a couple of races that have been for ownership

Tooley,

I didn't know you went to Brighouse...

Down by the car auctions on the industrial estate isn't it? Not been myself but heard about it.

I'm working at a big haulage firm there every other day - one of my contracts.

The guy on the gate there has a red Fiat Bravo 1.6 with Cruiseboard and Yorkshire Cruise URL stickers all over it. He keeps asking to have a go in my Z!

Some guy had his Scooby nicked from there recently so watch yourself. Think he ended up with a broken nose too for his trouble!

Double post. Grrrrr!
