Do you mean Side, instead of inside ?

 

The wheel adjusts side bolster support, so you adjust how much it grips you and holds you in.

 

The lever is lumbar support, it moves a support bar in back of seat give you more or less lower back support.

 

 

If you dont mean them, and you mean inside your seat...perhaps its a DIY ejector seat mechanism....remove targa's and give it a go ;)
