I cleaned my IAA valve yesterday which made no difference at all. I disconnected it today with the engine running and nothing happened. Should the engine stall when I disconnect it?

If it's broken does anyone know if I can just buy the solenoid?

the other, small valve is the FICD valve which is used to raise the idle speed

when the AC-compressor is ON, so I doubt that

it is your problem.

 

I don't remember exactly your symptoms but I'll try to find

the old thread and take a look.

Tried cleaning the IAA valve again last night and checking the inlet ports and it is just as bad.

Come upto junction ease off car almost stalls press throttle nothing happens then suddenly it goes!

It's a nightmare I think I might take the advice of one of the other posts and seel it!!
