the porsche boxer flat 6 from a 911 goes in with no mods to the bonnet

i used to work with a guy that was running a 3.2 beetle ....bloody fast but handled like a drunk pig on roller skates ..purely a straight line machine

Saw a beautiful beetle with the carrera turbo engine in it in germany! Can't say i fancy it in an accident though!

sorry steve but fitting porsche engines into beetles is not as easy or as common as people make out! it does require mods to the bay in order for it to fit in.

i used to own a bug so know a fair bit about them, without mods to the engine bay you can fit 2 litre engines no probs and get a good bhp output...

saw a rover V8 in the back of a bug on ebay, that woulda been quick...peeps out in L.A run 10 second street legals too :D lucky *******s!!
