Bodywork

I was just looking at mrsimoto's thread about bodywork and Old Zed said something which concerned me - that the sills are different on these cars.

I have put a dent in my driver's side sill due to an unseen rock and it won't pull out and is too big to fill. Can this be repaired easily and cheaply in a bodyshop? Would I be better off getting a new sill from one of the traders?

Thanks

Any good bodyshop should be able to repair your sill , there,s a few ways to pull large or deep dints out enough to be able to fill it and re-texture with stone chip protection .Got to be the better option , rather than replacing which if done properly is quite an involved job , but shop around or go to someone who,s been recommended to you , there,s alot of FRED IN THE SHED so called repairer,s out there :smash: HTH
