there is a nice pub called crown inn in cholderton (i think that is how it is spelt) its not actulaly in salisbury but very near. but im open to suggestions too

Just an idea but 15 mins or so from Salisbury there is a really nice pub called "The Lamb".

 

Its a couple of miles off the A36 in a small town called Nomansland near Landford, just inside the New Forest. There is plenty of places to park from memory as it front's onto a green and is in a lovely setting.

 

What you guys think?
