is it just me or is the a real pain in the arse to do?

i can take the T piece off but the plastic air filter just dont come off, the bolts attaching it to the car are to hard to get to.

what do i do?

should i just break it off, because its starting to piss me off now!!!

The back left is easy the back right is abit akward but you can get it okay.Front pair ,all you need to do is slacken them abit with a flat spanner,as the ring they go through has a split in it then give it abit of a pull and away she comes."THEN BIN IT" LOL

i remember getting really ****ed off with mine and drilling out loads of rivets... then binning the thing!!

yep - I've seen a few people say the same... only downside is you can't whack it back in after an accident if you've not declared your mods :x:

wait till the weather's warm - it's much easier - or warm the rubber intake pipe with a hairdryer.

i used a big set of bolt cutters to cut the whole airboxes out ... worked a treat - and it was quite satifying getting my own back on the Zed for having such a stupidly hard engine bay to work in!!!
