Hey guys.... Just looking at rear light clusters & wondering what peoples thoughts are?

Im going to have the rear spoiler removed & the tailgate smoothed.

So should I go for.......

a - Diablo style rear lights

b - OEM 99 spec rear lights

Personal preferance I know, but I kinda like both although OEM is always good right!?

Help :)

99 Spec all the way

I figured thats what most people would say... I think 99 spec myself, but then I see those Diablo ones & think they look the shinznay lol

99 spec every time however the choice is down to you.

Hey Mac.... the center part of your rear lights has 300zx in red right? Well I have seen those on a US site the same as yours (red) but in the UK the centre writing is in white/silver.... Am I right or am I getting confused?

99 spec for sure-currently waiting for my new uncracked ones to arrive for conversion.

Also thinking about backlighting the 300ZX center section.

99 spec all the way. Diablo style rear lights on a zed just don't look right IMHO.

99's deffo, IMHO there is no other rear light upgrade that is worth doing!

But then, we all have different tatses (thank god) so go with what yer feel bud :)

Following on from Iain's response, if you buy the genuine 99-spec centre panel it actually comes in red (but doesn't light up though).

HTH

I like those more than the diablo lights above, but for me it's got to be 99 spec...

My '99 spec rear lights have a green light up centre???!!!?? I love the LED conversion by the way!

With genuine Nissan parts you know everything will be spot on.

Never quite so sure with pattern parts - and some can look a bit cheap and ill fitting.

Thanks... Not so keen on the afterburners although they still look cool.... Diablo ones look really nice but I think I may well go 99 spec.....

Still not 100% though :/

I've currently got the 4 Pot Diablo panel and lights it looks great and does suit the car but i'm considering changing to 99 specs soon.

s2000 one day!

but would have 99 spec till then!
