ok I asked this a while ago but got my wheels sizes wrong :slap: does anyone know what the biggest tyre size is you can put on a 17x8 inch wheel ive heard some folk go for 255 40 17 but have also been told that 245 40 17 is the biggest it should be thanks in advance people:D

245 is big enough for an 8" rim. to go 255 you need 8.5 or even 9". What you must consider is if you start putting a tyre thats too wide on it will start to bubble over the rim edge and will also drastically change the whole profile aswell.

ok so 245 40 17 on the rear then what on the front 235 45 17?

id go 225 on the front as you want better turn in an more responsive steering too, zeds have a lot of front end grip on the with the right tyre.
