I never understood why it's more expensive to insure a jap import than a UK? What is the difference, as pretty much all imports are more expensive to insure

27, zero NCB, Gatwick area....

Bell Direct told me 720quid for the year which I thought was quite good esp 2 claims under my belt in the last three years and my mild mods all claimed!!!

Give em a go.

(edit) just realised somebody already mentioned Bell previously - sorry. But they were the cheapest by far for me...!

heritage are good... its a classic policy though so you need another main car to drive
You also need to be 28 years old before you can do that. Or at least that's what they told me when I wanted a classic car quote.

£850 (fully comp) - 10month bonus accellerator includes lowering, zorsts, induction. I have only just got a NCB and am 24.

HTH.

Times that by about 2 if you got a Jap Import!
who was that quote through jacks300zx as im in the same boat

hello mate, the company i think was called sabre, ill check again later. if u go through the insurance centre on autotrader.co.uk, fill your details in it comes up with loads of qoutes. good luck and let us know how u get on jack

Well i'm having no luck at all with my renewal

Adrian flux is asking for £1000 on an NA auto even though I have 4 years NCB, clean license, garage, CAT1 and i'm 25.

No other companies will beat it though except Elephant (£950) and quoteacar.co.uk at £860

I have been really pleased with Adrian Flux for the past 2 years but now I have to decide on going with the company I trust or risking a new company just to get a resonable quote! :nono:

(PS several brokers have now told me that the only underwriters who will touch imports are highway and Norwich Union, so brokers are really limited to the quotes they can offer hence why adrian flux can't reduce my renewal any more)

any one tried lifebelt or motorquote direct they specilaise for people with points and convictions :)

have you got there details please cheerz

elephant are only chargin me 400 quid with protected ncb and extended audio cover

thats with max no claims and i'm 27

Heritage.......

UK and Overseas breakdown cover

I keep the car if written off

5K miles per year limited
