Dear fellow Zed owners,

 

My car is going in to have the auto box looked at very soon. I had it re-built almost a year ago. As the warrantee is about to run out, I want to make sure its running 100% right. But having never driven, or been in another auto zed I've got nothing to compare it with. Mine seems to slip a bit, and be generally, fairly boring (I know your going to say get a manual conversion, but that’s not an option at the moment). I don't know if this is normal performance or not. So my question is:

 

Has anybody, or do you know anybody, in the Cambridge area who has an auto TT zed that I could have a look at to see if mine is ok?

 

It would be a real help me allot..

That would be excellent, but I can't make it this weekend unfortunatly. Really need to make sure these blokes get it setup right this time. I'm sure it should be a bit more pokey if you know what I mean. There's no problem if I plant my foot, all hell breaks loose. Just a bit sluggish around town.

Shouldn't be sluggish around town! Mine goes like stink and can get you into trouble, even potterin around town!

Has anyone got an auto in the south east I can try. I'm willing to travel. I really need to get my gearbox sorted out soon. My warrantee runs out very soon, and they said they will open it up, but I need to make sure I tell them what I want them to sort.
