Just noticed on the adhesive spray its heat resistant to 50 Degs C.

 

Is that good enough to use?

Personally I cant see it getting that hot but when cars bake in the sun I dont know what the leatherette temp rises to?

I think it was said that a brush-on contact adhesive was better than the spray ones. I used spray-on and it's OKish but not brilliant, so I'll be using the brush type when I change mine soon.

Is a temp rating of 50 degs C ok?

if you use a contact adhesive then make sure you thin it out it gives you more time to move the fabric you use.

 

otherwise you can use an upholsterers glue there are different levels of tack on these but they are more expensive
