#NEED#washer jets mounted on w.screen wipers??HeLp

I have MOT due and need to know a soloution.

I have a Monza bonnet fitted and do NOT want to drill holes in it to mount the washer jets.

I have seen instances where the washer pipes are mounted on brackets just below the bonnet level using brake pipe to create the nozzle..

BUT...

I want windscreen wipers that have the washer jets mounted in them :wack:

Can anyone help please?

Where can I buy them?

or any help on this matter appreciated

Thanks chaps :duffer:

Not sure if it helps, but try a lorry parts place, they have them as standard on a lot of lorries now

Could'nt you set up like an irrigation system using fine tube?? If you use the original pumps and everything but fix a fine tubing along the length of the wiper with a series of small holes in it, then when you press the washer button screen wash pumps through the fine tubing out of the holes and then gets wiped away with wipers?? Just an idea I know what I mean mate so feel free o catch me on msn. LOL

The old trick the rally boys used to do was extend the water pipework along the wiper arm, and mount them on the wipers themselves.

Thats the idea I was thinking! I am amazed at myself I had a good idea

350Z's have wiper arm mounted jets, you may be able to do it with Nissan parts ...

IIRC, Peugeot 405 wipers arms and washers on them

Yes they did, well at least the early ones did :)

Thanks Everone for the good tips/info

Some great ideas there :)

I take it theres no wipers you can buy with the bits installed then?

:duffer:

Apparantly you can use the headlight washer jets off a Cav GSi and clip them to the washer arms................

I've had 3 405's :wack: F reg H reg and L reg. They were all integrated into the wiper arm. A trip down your local breakers yard might see you bag a pair for a fiver Steve.

EDIT: not sure of the diameter/splines measurements though. Might be worth taking a chance for a fiver or so though?

I just moved my existing jets under the edge of the bonnet in the plastic panel where the wipers mount.

Easy,

In the black plastic scuttle vents that the wipers are mounted in.

It's already got holes in it so you just unscrew it and pop the washer jet in a slot and pass the pipe up from behind and fix underneath.

Didn't even have to drill anything and you've already got all the parts.

Takes a bit of fiddling to aim them right but mine work great and can't be seen.

Found a pic of them off the car:
