thats ur fuel regulator bud , tighten the hose lines connected to it and all the clips u can see on the other ends of the hoses , should do the trick . You also could get 2 lengths of fuel hosing and remove all the metal lines and small rubber pipes and replace the hot , Less chance of leaks and easier to find if u do get any.

You should be able to get a screw driver to it and lever it around so you can gain better access to the small jubilee clip to slacken it off or tighten it up.

i'm sure my fuel leak is comming from this place what is it?

Take the centre cover off might get better access. Also check the actual regulator itself isnt leaking.

i cant get my screwdriver around it as theres something in the way

What even if you remove the centre cover ? can you twist the clip ?

I done mine this morning mate and fixed my fuel leak.

As Vinz says - prize it around until you can get a screwdriver on the head, and tighten

I thought I was gonna need a replacement fpr but it was the small hose under the fpr that was loose.

No petrol smell this morning - result :D

Mine smells in the moring too and seems to stay on choke for a long time.

I will be watching for an answer.

This hose under the fpr going down to the fuel injector rail is a classic for fuel smell. Try looking under the car when it smells - without a fag in hand! - you'll see fuel pissing from the bell housing in cup fulls! It runs into the Vee under the plenum then down the back of the engine

I couldnt actually see mine leaking, couldnt have been that bad,

I just jammed a screwdriver under the screw and rotated it round so I could get head (oeerr missus ;) ) Tightened and that cured the fuel smell.

It was really bad in the mornings - now - nowt :) Dead chuffed

Yampie, that's a great write up - just what the novices among us need. Lets have of that guys
