Kerrrrccchhhhiiiinnnggggg £447 fully comp. oh and if I get meself as named driver on Mrs Turbos policy would be even less! Oh and if I had a CAT1/2 cert. WOULD BE EVEN LESS!!! Don't know what my alarm is, Gemini is all I know. So theoretically I could have been looking at about 300-350 squid.

My previous insurance policy was £873 as STANDARD so fuck knows what it would be with mods???

 

Oh by the way, spoke to the geeZer who was sorting me out about why they suddenly stopped doing imports. He simply said "because the underwriters changed their minds!" which explains why some of you managed to jump on the wagon last time. Then others were getting silly quotes after about a month gone by. Sad but that's life guys!

 

The joys of living in an area populated solely of sheep and Mr & Mrs Turbo....and sheep aren't known for their car-stealing antics. Sheep can't even turn around without human intervention.

Firebond were more expensive for me as well. Not by much, a mere £21. Tesco's are by far the most expensive that I have found so far, coming in at a whopping £809 - £226 more than I currently pay.

Firstly they're writing these up on Classic Car policies I think...don't quote me on that though. Ajay you ain't gonna make it on a 92/93 plate!

 

They don't like or even do Fairlady Z's! He did actually ask me whether it was an import more than twice to be sure. Even stressing to me that Fairlady Z's are Jap imports.

They like the cars around the 10 year mark on limited mileage of 10K max. per annum from what I can gather.

OK Mr. P laugh it up about UK cars being an inch or two higher but at least I had to ground mine in spectacular fashion to put some dinks underneath! Just got the Mrs Turbo on the Merc for £278.64 would have been about 600 squid but with me on hers as named driver and her on mine(Uhhh ohhhhhhh!) mine goes upto £449(2 squid more) and hers becomes about 300 squid less! Joy! You love a bit of it!

 

I tried calling these muppets but just got caught in the matrix with only Piano Reeves for company FFS!!

 

My car is import, but has no badges and has Nissan 300zx Turbo on the logbook.

 

Pisses me off I cant get insured with Firebomb grr

This has to be the cheapest car insurance I have ever had. My Saab T16S Turbo was about 600 squid, my Poopra was about 6-700 squid...the world has gone flippin' mad!!! I love it!!! I was even paying about 600 for the Kirk.

having never paid under a grand in 15 years of motoring and having driven some truely shite cars i think ure all stuffy motherbitches i wouldnt mind but ive been a fairly good boy for the last 2 yrs and im now of fossible age and yet i'm stilled spanked by insurance

You couldn't be further from the truth Tooley mate! My previous driving record takes the piss big time, I had to drive around for 4 fucking years with 11 points on my license all for speeding offences! How I managed it without getting done again was on par with that muppet missing Samuel L Jackson in Pulp Fiction with that monstrous hand cannon at Grosse Point Blank!!! ROFL
