Porsches...

Hey guys just wanted to chime in here after reading numerous posts involving a lot of bashing here...

First off, I'm a Porsche owner (on my second 944-->turbo), but a big admirer of 300ZXs, specially the twin turbos.

The performance of these cars are almost dead even IMO, but there are a lot of other subjective areas the cars are different on.

Anyway, even if one of these cars were faster than the other that's no reason to put down the other, and please I ask you to not judge all Porsche owners by what a fire starter chooses to post. Infact I've done numerous track events with a close buddy who owns a 300zx tt, and as much as we both love our own cars, both of us have the utmost respect for the other's car and certainly don't hold grudges against each other! Sh!t I've gone to 300 club meets with him, and he comes to PCA events with me smile.gif Don't tell Porky but we even switch cars every now and then...

Don't dis other sports car drivers. We all have common interests in a car IMO.

Peace

Ahmet

I think that is the opinion of most people on this board and probably most other board.

I think the slagging maches only really start as you say when some muppet (who probably doesn't even own whatever car they are bigging up) comes on to the board purely to wind people up.

Do 200sx's count? smile.gif

Jezz.

respect.

I'm a great admirer of Porches and and agree with your comments but lets not keep bringing up an issue that was never worth responding to in the first place.

I'm sure everyone here understands that you all can't be tarnished with the same brush.

I totally agree!!!

In fact, before I had my Z, I was offered a Pearlesant White convertable 944 Turbo. Thank was V nice. Low mileage too.

At one time, Porches were the faster cars in the world. Theres got to be a lot said for that.

Give me a 993 or a boxster anyday and I'd love to have it in the driveway next to my Z as a second car. LOL

Well said that man! wink.gif

My girlfriend's got a 944 S2. It's a really nice car to drive. I prefer my Z, but the porsche is still great fun.

I'm glad most of us have a more fitting attitude on this issue than what I was initially led to believe.

Nice board btw, I might have to post some pictures of my 44turbo, and friends 300tt. redface.gif
