Doing a few jobs today and one was to change my steering wheel. Now have managed to get the 19mm socket off with a bit off force but for the life of me cant get the wheel off. :headvswal As far as I can see there is nothing else holding it in. Any tips would be appreciated.

cheers

Brute force is needed, leave the nut on by the last couple of threads and smack the steering wheel from behind, the nut being left on stops the wheel flying off and smacking you in the face.

no no dont smack it from behind you will only end up killing yourself or bending or braking something you need to impact it off so get an impact hammer and hit the centre and it should just come straight off ;)

Or take the nut off then hit both sides of the steering that will make it a bit loser then turn it to steering lock a little left and right with the lock on while pulling and pop off it comes did this with mine today;)

rubber mallet knock it either side a few times and it should come off the spline
