i have the chance to change the colour of my car, was considering Nissan Midnight Purple, a colour which i think is stunning...

 

anyone either got any pics of one done in this colour or any feedback on the idea (positive or negative)

If its the same as the Skyline GTR Purple - then I think it's amazing....

yeah bandituks is lighter then the midnight purple...

 

the one i'm thinking of IS the GTR purple, VERY dark and stunning... like the one in RS200TEZ's link...

My Z is Skyline Purple (paint code LP1 I think).

 

I think it looks great - close to black on a dark day but really nice when the sun hits it. There's pics in my rides section (not sure how to do a link) but they're done on quite a dark day so don't show the colour at it's best.

I'm not sure, but maybe I'm just not a 'purple' fan. I've never really viewed the Z as a purple car. It may work if you get the shade right. Very dark, ie looks black after 4pm may be ok. Outright 'Cadbury's' purple may be ok.

 

But who cares what I think, anyway ! Right ? ;)

my main concern is that my interior is red and black leather all round, but lookin at it i think it would be fine on a purple car.. opinions??

thats not midnight purple tho.. anyway no matter now as i've been persuaded its staying RED.. lol.. altho it will be like its just come outa the factory (so i've been told)..
