Had the Timing Done

OK, The datascan said my timing was at 25,

I got it on the gun and guess what?

It was actually at 12, this has now been ammended to 15 and it hasn't made much difference

was so hoping that was going to be my problem too.

But on the plus side its one less possibility isn't it

And curious why the datascan said 25 though :(

also my O2 sensors weren't sweeping back and forth at idle :(

If your data scan is saying the timing is at 25 degress but when checked its correct at 15 degrees, it will be due to the manual conversion, which hasn't got the neutral position switch wired up, which the ecu will give off wrong readings, you can earth one of the pins in the ecu to correct this but it won't make any difference in performance, only on data scan or conzult readings as I found out when i did mine
