I am thinking of replacing the winow/roof seals on the Zed. They don't leak but are really scratty looking.(Somewhere along the line someone :xxx: has painted them black (with a brush!!!!) in an atemptto tidy them up) Has anyone done them and how hard is it? I don't want the car to end up looking better but leaking like a sieve :)

If it is hardly noticeable then I would leave it alone IMO. But if you really want to replace then do so. I done mines, takes all of about 10 minutes to do both sides. Only prob I found was that the couple of drops before, resulted in both footwells and the drivers eat being absolutely soaked. take your time when fitting as you may find out the do the same as mine.

 

If it isnt broke, dont fix it (always in the back of my head now).

Use plenty of auto/ caravan silicone sealent available in most car shops.
