My mate, who's considerably wealthier than me, has been seriously thinking about joining a club where for about £12k a year you get to drive a whole range of exotic machinery.

Anyway we were chatting about what they've got in the stable and he was telling me that in the last two years their Murcielago has had FIVE new clutches at £11K A TIME !!! Holy sh*t !!!

And I thought the Z was expensive to look after !!!!

tell him to spend 5K on a Z another 7k on mods and he can drive an exotic sports car when ever he wants .. job done

biggest problem is for those who have never driven a lambo before they get in and the clutch feels so abnormal and heavy that they kill the damn thing.

lamborghini sales do offer a driving course when you buy one..

I have an Arabic friend who's a member of REVO250. Whenever he goes to his villa in Marbella he gets an exotic ... Lucky barsteward!

Also, £11k for a Murcie clutch replacement is overstating the truth a bit. A DTA client works for Lambo Manchester and they do a complete clutch replacement for £4.5k (£2.5k on centre plate alone ...)

I've driven a Murcie a couple of years ago in the US and the clutch is very "organic" - as in it's not as heavy as the Diablo or Countach before that. In fact I found it rather easy to drive.

If the "club's" Murcie has had to have 5 clutch replacements in 2 years I think it's safe to say it's a relatively "abused" vehicle.
