300bhp in the wet has caused me no end of trouble recently. Want to try and stabilise the traction at the back a bit so i can stop driving it like an old granny with a micra everytime it starts spitting!

Im thinking new rear tyres - any suggestions on make/model chaps?? Got any other ideas? I fail to believe you can run 500 brake+ engines and only drive them in the summer!

Cheers

Mark

I have Toyo T1S's and I'm very happy with both wet & dry performance, other's rave about the Goodyear F1's

Hi Mark, as said above Racelogic Traction Control is an essential mod at this time of year IMO. I'm not far away (Croydon), so could install the system for you easily as well.

Click on the link in my sig below for details of the current group buy  You need to be subscibed to take part however - well worth £20! :D

Im running some cra*py tyres that the last owner threw on just to get a sale...been meaning to change them for a while now just not got round to it until a small donut in the middle of a crossroads junction incident the other night convinced me id better do something about it!

RLTC huh? How much will that set me back?

Basic system should be about £500 depending on the numbers in the group buy. This normally retails at £628!

Let me know if you've got any questions! I could even pop over to Bromley and give you a demo if you're interested

Cheers Steve, just checked out your link to RLTS. Looks good...will have to think about it though as im in for a full 60k service asap too + it wont start for some undetermined reason at the mo. Going to be an expensive month! Can you (or anyone else?) recommend a good local Z service garage that can help me out with this. Ive been trying to get in touch with Mark at Zen Garage but no joy yet. ZTech is too far and Nissan wont touch 300s round our way!

Mark is definitely closest - give him a buzz on his mobile number and I'm sure he'll get back to you! I know he's very busy at the moment..

Goodyear F1s are pretty good. Haven't had any problems with mine, although they've only been on just over a week so far. Not so clever in snow or ice, but rated highly on wet and dry.

K - Thanks chaps...may well take you up on that RLTS demo Steve if i ever get my motor running again!:)

I recently put a couple of Dunlop SP2000E on the rear, they seem good so far and are a bit cheaper.

I bought a pair of pirrelli z for the front at the weekend due to a blowout, paid £ 250 the pair in 18", seems quite cheap compaired to others , but have not had time to test them as yet. :headvswal
