Well not exactly giving it away, but not exactly selling it either (so don't flame me for not paying the 20 quid etc to use the sellers section!!!).

Trading up to a 350z and dealer has offered me 1500 trade in for my car....thieving pikey.

So here's why I'm actually happy to let it go if anyone wants to have a look at the car and offer me 1500, first person with cash on the table gets it!!!

Honestly I've nothing to lose by not selling it (in fact it would be easier to get to the dealer in a car). Only reason I'm doing this is I'd rather see a zed fan driving it than a dealer selling it for 1500 quid profit.

Car is Silver, SWB, bodywork is in great condition apart from small scratch on bonnet and the usual rubber bumper cracks.

Door trim (you know the chrome stuff covered in black) is beginning to show chrome, Z centre has replacements for 20 quid I think.

Mark in Zen Garage gave it the 60K service (all belts pulleys etc etc etc) before Christmas, it's been driven on weekends only since then, and so much so that the garage where I park it have a pain in their face "jump starting" me...really should replace the battery.

It's got a Toad Cat 1 alarm immobiliser, standard tweed interior - no rips tears or signs of wear...there's the odd scuff on bumpers (but when she's poliched up you really wouldn't notice)

It's an automatic (which I think is a plus but not to everyones taste....).

110,000 KMS, so still healthy mileage...

Targa top - with targa covers...

MOT has just expired, if I was looking to sell it for what it's worth I'd get MOT done, and tidy the spoiler and trim - but then I'd be looking for 3000+

What else can I say - give a buzz and swing by and have a look at it....

Apologies of this looks like a "for sale" add fellas - feel free to take it down if it breaks any of the rules etc...

I'm in SE1 in london call me on 07908648914!!!

Cheers........

Meant to say "Rubber spoiler" cracks and also pictures might get posted if there was genuine interest - would rather people came to see it though - you wont be disappointed....

Seen this, and a complaint has been received, do you really want this removed, the guy is offering a bargain.

would prefer to see a member get it than have the post removed, but hey rules are rules and they are there for everyone

sorry guys just MHO

Is this car a turbo? if so I'm interested and off work tomorrow to view.

I'm in Stratford not far from you I'd imagine let me know asap.

NA - and I should mention I had powerflow backboxes done - subtle oval pipes....nothing too lairy or loud...

Ridiculous to remove it he's not exactly abusing the system...in fact its more of a favour to genuine Zed enthusiasts isn't it!

If anyone wants to view it - let me know - txt or ring me on the moby - I work around the corner from the lockup so anytime suits during the day.. garage gets locked up at 7pm so if anyone wants an evening viewing, let me know before 6 so I can get it out of carpark....

£1500 seems to be the going px price for a Z, thats what a garage offered me ages ago as he said it was a speicialised car and not everybodys cup of tea.

Hence why I posted the question, rather than remove it!

Im sure Topless would verify any work done as well

I gave Mark a buzz last week, he said he'd post up what was done...I'll give him a txt in the morning ask him to post when he gets a chance....

It's not fair for everybody else who tried to sell their car and for those that had to subscribe in order to do so, rules are rules. IMO

Agreed 100%

Its not exactly a fortune in todays world £20 is it???

This COULD set a dangerous precedent.

whats the point in him paying 20 quid when hes not going to own a z after ive never understood the almost fanatical you will subsribe zealots on here when you could let your memebers get bargains but say no

Is what he doing any worse or any different to subscribed members "selling on behalf of a friend"????? which does happen

Personally I dont agree 100% with the rule of having to be subscribed to sell on the forum because it does mean a true bargain may be missed, such as this. But rules are rules as has been said, does this now mean that as long as the car you are selling is below a certain price it can be advertised on here???? or as long as a friend of a friend is subscribed thats fine?

Ive always thought that, is it you have to be subscribed to sell or just "know" someone who is subscribed.

Come on commity make your minds up.

Didn't want to cause any upset fellas - just thought I'd let someone have it at the trade-in price - not going to spend £20 as well , I'd be 20quid better off letting the dealer have it! Regardless, I can see the point if it's a club rule and all that...

Ah I dont think anyone is moaning at you fella, its just there is a lot of confusion as to the club rules that people are worried about.

Yes mate, its not you, leave the ad as it is because its truely a bargain for someone at that price :) . Its up to the powers that be to decide which way it goes and thats all we are asking about.

Copied from the For Sale section

Cars for sale

Subscribed members only are allowed to sell their car in here, non subscribed may still post responses to adverts

Operative words being: "members only are allowed to sell their car in here" ie not other peoples :nono:
