guys i know you all have your own ideas over Tubbies

standard , Greddy , JWT etc

in my future build ( June / July ) i am looking at fitting the JWT530BB with 555's forged internals and bottom end balanced rebuild ....but now i hear JWT have developed 700BB tubbies ?? :))

my dilema is shall i or shant i go for the big 700s or stick with the 530's ?

either way i would mod the block to suit ....allready running big brakes uprated clutch etc etc ...what are the feelings of the zed clan on this ???

When i done my engine rebuild 6 years ago i used jim wolf 600's.. great tubs .. they take a hell of a lot of abuse , esp high pressures  never had any experience with others as i drive an NA now but ive got a new project under the sheets in the garage  i get all my info from the USA as they are the dons when it comes to modding the Z

it all depends on how much power you want steve

if you want a nice responsive fast road car then the 530's with 555's is going to be the one and an awful lot cheaper to do.

if you want a high power zed then go 700's but your talking alot of custom stuff etc

no doubt we will have a chat about it when you get back ;)

mike

i have given it some more thought and am swayed by the "drivability" of the 530's

but the thought of 600+bhp from the 700's is very tempting .......however its 530 and 555's for me....project red zed coming in summer ...

Mike when im home do you fancy giving me a hand with the boot install ?? wont be for another 3 weeks or so yet budski ...there will be a bottle of vanilla vodka in it for ya!! or cognac if your brandy drinker ..not yer cheap 45% proof stuff ...this is more like 70% .....
