purchased a car yesterday and was extremley lucky to have Rich (chunk) and his mate (sorry forgot your name again think its gary) there :bow: :bow:

anyway after fitting the conzult onto the car everything checked out but there was no current going to the air idle control valve. with the maf plugged in... the car would not start but when unplugged it started and drove but wouldnt go above 2.5k and was hunting..whilst rich and gary were there i should have asked how to resolve this prob but as usual i thanked them both and bid them a fair journey. can anyone help pleeeeeeaaaaaase

faulty maf or connector?? see if you can borrow a working maf and then try, easiest way to rule it out..

had the AA round today he found a detached wire which fits onto the aicv and i asked for him to check the voltage and he confirmed that there was infact current going to it. spoke to ryan and looks like its a timing problem well thats gonna be fixed tommorrow
