doesnt russ have the rights to these?

Agreed with Legrath totally. The front and rear lights are totally what make a zed what it is.

Si i disagree.. i think the rear lights was an afterthought when they designed the zed .. everything on the zed looks great aprt from the rear lights..headlights look amazing just a damn shame you can see buggeral when theyre on unless u HID them or maybe the japs have better eyesight than us?, but we all have our own tastes , just my oppinion

£350 fookin quid ... you gotta be taking the absolute fookinpiss...

You are joking surely?? Each to their own, but the zed rear lights fit like a glove, it's the aftermarket lights that look like a complete afterthought. A nice sleak rear panel and lights is just a very nice design, sleak and flush. Couldn't imagine another design.

Each to their own though. I've not seen a single set of lights that can come close to 99spec lights...apart from the lights on MarkZX and SrgtC's cars.

Should the qualifying question be "If the same Nissan designers were working on the Zed now, what would they have done?"

I suspect they would do headlights something like that.

Fifteen years of changing fashion etc. I suppose.

Just like for '99 they had a different idea for the front & back. It's still a Zed.

not that i would ever buy them because i agree with legrath and si, but if russ' lights are inserts then they are completly different. luke's are bolt on, just need painting. russ' would need the original headlights stripping. not taking sides just making an observation.

i'd be more impressed if luke came on and answered questions that were asked months ago, than got people to drop hints for him.

im waiting on replies over 3 months ago.

no they are not inserts its just a term persay!

they are the same thing.. and fit the same i have been told, and both peoples would need a bit of work before painting..

dude, posting here, sending an e mail to his sales team account which he links on his site i would think should be enough, i dont see why i should have to chase ANYONE to spend money, DO YOU ?

lets be honest, this is an internet forum, yet you cant use it to contact them ?

personally, with the cost on the items, it dont matter now anyway

Yup - have to agree with this too

Front lights should NEVER be messed with - they were good enough that Lamborghini stole them for the last models in the Diablo range

Rear lights - grey area. '99 spec are probably the way to go as they are the "tidyiest" option. The Lambo/Fiat conversion would look OK if someone developed them in a clear option without the horrid "orange" indicator lenses.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Yep, pretty much. Uppdated modern look.

Brighter red brake lens.

Clear indicator lense.

Chrome surrounds.

Horizontal Black lines

Anyone still with orignal pre-1999 stock lights should have 'Craig David' sent round with his hot crack pipe for untold 'sole of feet' punishment. But thats just my opinion. ;)

Repeat after me...ORANGE IS EVIL !
