As title suggests, just wondered if anyone has blacked out their roof pillars.

 

Pics if anyone has them...with t-tops on....and no black Zed owners posting up pics of theirs! :rofl:

 

Light coloured cars preferably, silver or white.

Might start with some vinyl to see what it looks like. Can decide then whether I want it done.

if you find a vinyl supplier could you post the details i have searched for ages to do this very same job and cant find anyone that will supply what i need :((

 

at least with Vinyl it is reversible if you decide its not right

There's a small local DIY store that used to sell bloody great big rolls of the stuff. I'll have a butchers at the weekend and see if they still have the stuff.

Looks cool. Something i'd not considered but am now :) I think it almost updates the look of the car.

 

Vinyl roof is a bit retro tho.. thought that went out with the Austin Princess :rofl: :tongue:

Noooooooooooooooooooo we're talking matt black fablon. Same stuff as you find on most car B pillars to extenuate the window lines. ;)

Actually, this MKIII Cortina, has undergone a full restoration, complete with a 1.8 Zetec engine install, nice way of keeping a classic look with modern internals.

hmmmmm i like it, i was'nt sure when i was asked to do it, but now i've seen it.
