Am thibnking of upgrading the radio player in the z. i listen to loads of radio so im keen to get something that will lay downloadable podcasts nut i was wondering - in terms of looks which audio system do you think best suits the Z? I deally it has to look as stcok as possible!

I cant really say what looks like stock but ive used alot of stereo equip in my time (its my job) and Alpine is by far the best in my opinion. They are launching a new range at the end of the month with built in ipod adaptors eg use your stereo remote when connected to the pod and play to your hearts content.

I bought a Sony CD/MP3 player off fleabay for £74 and it is really great. The MP3 bit means that you can have one disk full of your best listening. I have a disk with 28 different full CD's on it, thats about 300 numbers to listen to, and its Sony. of course your speakers will come into play as well as the standard ones are shite.

Yeah, Sony also do some that can play attrac3 music files. This is exclusive to Sony and is an even more compressed music format than mp3 and still maintains quality. You can ridiculous amounts on to a disc.

 

If you go for a top spec Sony you'll get attrac3 and DAB radio.

if you want stock looks, but awesome sound quality there is make called nakamichi. they look fairly mediocre (ie pretty stock) but they are great sounding units.
