Ive finally got round to sorting out my boot space and found the targa tie down straps loose round the spare wheel. Where and how do I attach these under the carpet to secure the targas when they are in the boot?

Im sure this should be simple but its defeating me....

Lift up the carpet an you will see the attachment points under there also look at the carpet and you will see where there is slots cut into it for the straps to come through. HTH

Cannot help you there bud as my boot is so full of speakers / amps and subs I cannot put my targa tops in there also I never got the straps with mine, but I am sure somebody will be along shortly than can help.

Theres a we knob on the bach of the metal bit at the end of the strap, it slots into the hole on the bracket welded to the floor.

wierd thing is i have got a swb slicktop and i have got those straps in mine also!!

I reckon your has been converted some time over the years, peel back the headlining and look for a Heinz label or similar, they were know to bodge the conversions up a little and use any old tin available. :p
