Hi again - i know this is my like my zillionth post on asking about Zed's but ..

Im going to see a UK Spec Zed tomorrow (only as it happens to be a UK spec - also looking at Imports too) and where the usual Digital C/Control is there's just a switch for the heater controls by the look of it...

Did UK cars not come with Climate Control ?

Thanks

hmm not sure - but this one defo as a like a round switch - where on most of the Zeds ive seen has the digial display..(well, the temparature display)

i THINK the round dials for directional control were on series 2 or 3 cars

yeah thats it - damn - i wanted digital...!!!

the newer one is more user friendly as in if you want air in your face you can adjust it where as the digital one decides where the air is required which can be a pain in the arse

the car he is talking about has non-digital climate control, rather than series 2 controls.

The non digital is very rare..I think it was for pre- full production vehicle so you may find that the car was once a Magazine reviews car...or one of the very first off production line.

I thought you had seen it and it was like the non-digital type.

Series 2 onwards looks the same as this but one of the buttons has a different marking and it does'nt show outside temp, just interior temp setting on LCD.

You can set which direction the airflow comes from on series 2> , instead of ju automatic on series 1.

cripes i dont know then - just seen a photo and looks like it has the circular switch and no digi display..

dial type is plain old air con, digital is climate control

I thought all UK spec cars had digital climate control - surely a 92 J reg would have?

Ed, mate are you sure it's a UK car?

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
