Ive got a jwt chip with 0.8mm jets with 15/16 psi on aftermarket boost gauge but i want to try a more aggressive chip, which chip would peeps recommend ??? and is there any pro's/con's with a aggressive chip compared to a mild chip, ive got usual bolt on bits blitz induction, catback exhaust,ud pulley, koyo rad, stock injectors, ngk 11b plugs. thanx in advance.

Without being too up on these cars I would think that for a more agressive chip you would need to upgrade the internals and fuel system with a pump upgrade and injector upgrade and in all honesty the t25's are pretty crap above 14psi

depends what you mean by 'more agressive'... in what way????

More aggresive chips only load up the timing and/or lean out the fuel in both instances unless you know what dett sounds like stay clear, if you have a boost controller its not so bad because you can turn the boost down you do not have that luxury, if I was putting an aggresive chip in I would pull the boost back down to 13-14 just to be on the safe side

I'd recommend going wih an aftermarket ecu and getting it set up properly ( or fiddle with it yourself 'till you blow it up like i'm doing) rather than chancing it with a fixed 'agressive' chip.

surly you must be able to get a slightly more aggressive chip than a jwt and run 13/14 psi pretty safly though? or is it a case that not many people make the chips for zeds...

That option has been designed by john dixon and for UK fuel, most of the aggresive maps you will see are spawned from Japan therefore always aiming at the best performance possible using 100ron fuel, are fuel is not as good so running the same levels as they do is very hit and miss

Yes you can easily squeeze more than JWT without removing too much margin of safety. In actual fact, JWT has no 'lo octane' ie det maps anyway so it's not really all that safe if you do have a problem.

PM me if you want and I can sort one out for you.
