MSN Messenger

HELP!!!!

 

I cant get my msn messenger to work, so im relegated to windows messenger.

 

If anyone has any idea's, that a computer illiterate can understand, please help, Tried switching off firewall, that didnt work. (But I didnt really know what I was doing!!)

i find switching off the pc a few times works or disconnect the router and replug back in.

Search google for msn messenger errors and you will find many things that give you troubleshooting guides on how to get it sorted.

Did the Google search, tried everything listed, but in the end had to revert back to the old 7.0 version, apparently 7.5 is a nightmare!!
