the date of me coming home to get my zed is getting closer. so i thought id get some advice. check out the specs b4 answering. planning to run it on the 100 RON from tesco, probably driving it most days, no more than an hour apart from weekends.

 

need to know:

1)what oil? please keep it simple! as ive seen oil debates go on for days!

2) Best settings for Profec B, i.e max power, without risking damage. never actually used this before, dont know what its gonna be set on but could do with it explaining in simple terms

3) what spark plugs? im not sure what its got

4) any other general advice as im this is my first zed (yes i know, be carefull its pretty high spec!)? cheers guys

 

shes done just short of 3,000 miles since a full rebuild, so soon to need an oil change. stage 3 turbo dynamics turbos, full hard pipe kit, greddy intercoolers, RPS max 6puck clutch, lightened billet flywheel, greddy profec and K+N induction, full scorpion exhaust and chipped.

 

once ive got used to it next on the cards is some bigger injectors and maybe turn up the boost a bit more, what power can standard internals hold?

Hi mate .silkolene pro s oil /boost 0.9 bar/hks plugs/ .Tesco super is 99ron.New fuel filter.nissan oil filter.

nice one taff, wheres the best place to get silkolene? do HKS only make one type of plug for the zed? am i right in thinking there iriduim plugs? oh and did u ever get in touch with our matey in colchester about the 200 big end shells? jack

Opie oils is to do with silkolene when you get back have a word with me or steve c and he can order you some with a discount as he is sponsorded by them for d1 drift sereis.HKS plugs i think they do 2 grades you will want the cooler one if running more boost i dont know the plug number i want a set of these as well.Yes i told steve to email you i will remind him again.Yes they are uridium.When you get it mate you will have to bring it over to steves. so i can have a look. :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: :duffer:

yeah definetly mate, its coming from up t' north so im probably gonna bomb up there on my mates bike the nite we get back and bring it back down. f*ck going home to the mrs first!
