i ordered my asia tec bushido alloys a few weeks ago, only to be told the 19"s had not been made yet.

imagine my fooking amazement when today i get an email saying that the alloys havent been made and that due to an error they werent even available for my car!!!!!!

needless to say i fired a really shitty email to the head office about this..

i fookin love those alloys and got new tyres in ready for them pzero's sat in my conservatory... so i got my cash back for the alloys and told to choose something else from the range to which i replied " i am going to contact your head office and explain the farce reguarding my order and the fact i dont want a substitute, just make me the fookin alloys!"

why is it that these alloy manufacturers only make certain alloys for a certain range of cars??? for fooks sake thats stupid, by making a mass fitment range you add customers you would otherwise lose..

i wonder if they got the balls to get in touch with me about this..

stay tuned!!

pk1, this might not help but you've gotta get those alloys! They are bleedin gorgeous!

yes vini they are on the site but the stud pattern for the zed isnt on the alloys, and apparently wont be for our cars in the future on this model..

this is what i was waiting for , the correct alloy and stud pattern version to be made..

I can see why you are fuming mate. as I said they are taking the piss would it be possible to buy them without being drilled and have them done by an engineer? Its quite a popular PCD 114?

These alloys are only 8j fitting, realy you want 8.5jxF 10jxR

also the fitting may not cater forcorrect offset on the Zed.

well well they e-mailed and rang me..

the email said this..

Thanks for the e-mail.

The Asia-Tec Bushido is available in the correct fitment for your vehicle,

but as it has Brembo brakes the wheel will catch. You can get the wheels to

fit, but you would need to use a suitable spacer kit.

We do not stock a suitable kit.

Best regards

then they rang, to which i pointed out.. i dont have brembos fitted, and your confusing me with the new 350zx.

then the penny dropped!! lol, he then said yes they will fit however they wont clear the breaks, not without spacers, and we dont reccomend that.

oh i said! lol, i dont care gimme the fookin wheels, i asked about the rears of the arms the shape and direction he couldnt tell me and theres no pics of the rear of the wheel. so im going to halfords today to take a look as they may have some on display and i will let you know, but as a rule are spacers on the front as well as the rear ok??

more news from the front later!

wonder how my car would look with them lambo doors on it?

Nooooo please don't.... :(

i prefer the rims in your sig! :x:

arent asiatec made by wolfrace?

surely there is a better quality wheel available for all the hassle your getting?

Ditto mowgs. I prefer the current wheels. Can't make my mind up on the ones pictured.

theyr growing on me - very "gallardo". is there much of a difference between the standard wolfrace brand and asiatec? must admit i dont know much about the asiatec alloys, but wouldnt want wolfrace anywhere near my zed!

few mates have had wolfrace and theyv been scrappily made and heavy.

not really a fan of lambo doors anymore, but have to say, that style of wheel would look pretty good with them!

Each to their own I think. See I prefer the rims on PK1s car already - not keen at all on the new ones your trying to get. Still mate - if it makes ya happy go all out for em.

I still love the look of my old modena's whereas I been told by lots they're look shite.

thats the good thing about a personal choice, and having something unique.

when the cars painted and the rest of the works done i will have a one off.. and i will be happy with it, thats all that matters in my book.

Yep, It would be a boring world if we all liked the same :duffer:

I do like the new wheels by the way

poss scene at asia-tec hq?

:xxx: :xxx: :smash:

If you're wanting the lamborghini look, I reckon something like this is far nicer and neater.

Shunter's car.
