yep make sure you have 2-3 foot of strong extensions , a good quality 22mil crows foot and lots of WD40

LOL good point

I've had some luck in the past using a spanner with a "bend" in it and tackling the job from underneath the car. Lots of WD40 or penetrating oil and a rubber hammer (to hit the spanner and then yourself when that doesn't work).

Done this on three Zeds to date although I can't get my own O2's off for love nor money (not even love and a giant extension bar ... oh errr ...)

Disconnected mine as they would not budge.Drilled two holes high up in the down pipes, welded two stainless boss's in and screwed them in there.Easy to do and you can get to them easily from underneath (Sorted)

I need to do mine but I am a mechanical vortex...should be fun...or else I could go to Redline and get Scott to do it...lol

Check the connectors are not all furred up with the dreaded green oxide first! Saved me doing one.

I used a long piece of 1" square wood, propped the end against the O2 sensor and smacked the other end til the ceramic top of the sensor was no more :D Then you can get a normal tight fitting socket over the remains.

I was warned about bits falling down the downpipe but all seemed ok ;) It's a last resort anyway.

if it's jammed, cut the cable as near as you can to the sensor and use a long reach socket bit (a bit like Pete says but without smashing the ceramic bit)
